Joliet West Student Attacks Both Of His Parents: Cops
JOLIET — A 15-year-old Joliet West High School student was recently arrested at the high school, but the crimes did not happen on the high school campus on Larkin Avenue.
Joliet police say the 15-year-old boy was arrested and taken to the River Valley Justice Center on two counts of domestic battery.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, at 10:32 a.m. Oct. 29, officers responded to the Joliet Police Department West Facility for a report of a domestic disturbance that occurred at a house in the 5100 block of Gardiner Glen Drive earlier in the morning.

Officers say that during an argument, the 15-year-old male punched his mother in the face, causing her to fall to the ground. The juvenile’s father intervened, at which time the 15-year-old tackled his father to the ground and kicked him, according to police.
Officers learned that the 15-year-old was attending Joliet West High School, went to the school and placed him into custody without incident.
