Pittsburgh Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued
PITTSBURGH, PA — A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued until 8 p.m. for most of Western Pennsylvania.
The National Weather Service says hail up to a half-inch in size is possible. Wind gusts could approach 70 mph. Frequent lightning also is possible.
There also is a chance of severe storms Saturday afternoon. Damaging wind gusts will be the main threat.
