‘Desperate’ Arsenal urged to sign £20m man ahead of West Ham
Ray Parlour thinks Arsenal should pursue a “great deal” for Manchester City defender John Stones amid West Ham interest.
Pep Guardiola cast doubt over Stones’ long-term future at City recently when he failed to guarantee that the centre-back will be at the club next season.
A report in The Sun today claimed that West Ham have ‘leapfrogged’ Arsenal as they attempt to sign the England international and he ‘could be available for just £20m’.

“He’s had a bad time in recent years and he hasn’t really gone to where City thought he might go to, but you don’t become a bad defender overnight, he just needs a bit of coaching.

“But if West Ham could get him for that price it would be a great deal, an absolutely brilliant deal.”
