North Andover Planning Board Approves Child Care Center Plans
NORTH ANDOVER, MA — A developer’s plans to add a child care facility have been approved in North Andover.
The Planning Board approved the proposal unanimously at its Dec. 3 meeting, according to draft minutes of the meeting.
The facility was proposed for 1250 Osgood St. The applicant’s plans include razing the existing building and redeveloping the property into a two- or three-story building about 21,145 square feet in size.

The new building will be used for a child care facility “and associated play areas, along with medical offices and other uses as may be allowed under the Zoning Bylaw,” according to planning documents.
The applicant altered plans to adhere to a stormwater peer review which requires soil testing. Revised site plans addressed issues with the sidewalks in the parking lot and with lighting.

The property sold for $1.275 million in the summer, according to a statement from Nordlund Associates. The property is a former retail building on 2.55 acres.
