Man, 25, Killed In Sherman Way Crash
RESEDA, CA — A man was killed in a crash in Reseda Thursday that injured two others, including a man hospitalized in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The two-vehicle crash happened during the morning rush hour in the 19600 block of West Sherman Way at about 8:30 a.m. The crash left two people tracked in the wreckage, and the third patient tried to rescue them.
“One patient who tried to help extricate the victims prior to LAFD arrival is being transported with a non-life threatening injury,” said LAFD Spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

A 25-year-old man died at the scene, and a 40-year-old man was in critical condition, added Stewart.
Authorities did not immediately release the identity of the man killed pending notification of his family.

The cause of the fatal wreck remains under investigation.
