Fairfield PD Opens Burglary Investigation After Car Smashes Into Store
FAIRFIELD, CT — Thieves backed a vehicle through the glass front door of the Mohegan Smoke Shop at 525 Tunxis Hill Cutoff in Fairfield, smashing their way into the store and stealing items, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at about 3:20 a.m., but what was stolen, and other details, were not immediately available.
“Our detectives are actively investigating this incident, but at this time there is no further information available,” Fairfield Police Sgt. Michael Stahl told Patch.
