Fire At Boscawen Lumber And Production Company Under Investigation
BOSCAWEN, NH — Capital region and Merrimack County firefighters spent several hours battling a multi-alarm fire in Boscawen on Thursday.
Firefighters from Boscawen, Canterbury, Franklin, Webster, and Salisbury were first called to a possible building fire at Beau-Trusses LLC on Jarado Way at around 3:15 p.m. A few minutes later, a fire commander reported heavy smoke from the building, a propane tank that was a possible exposure risk, and other issues. The commander immediately called for a second alarm with an additional aerial device.
“There will be no entry,” the commander said, due to a collapsed roof.

Around 6 p.m., the commander said firefighters would be at the scene for several more hours but were packing equipment while other firefighters returned to service.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
