New Veterinary Hospital Coming To Greenwich
GREENWICH, CT — Pet owners in Greenwich will soon have a new option when it comes to taking care of their furry friend’s health with the addition of Nightingale Veterinary Partners.
The town’s Planning & Zoning Commission last week unanimously approved a final site plan and special permit for a change of use of the building at 100 Putnam Green, also known as 5 Western Junior Highway, from medical office to veterinary hospital.
Nightingale Veterinary Partners is based in New York City and was founded in 2017, according to their LinkedIn profile.

“With a focus on team happiness and an eye for innovation, we’re transforming the traditional vet practice into a happier, healthier place,” Nightingale says on its website.
The 14,500-square-foot, three-story office building at 100 Putnam Green will be turned into a veterinary hospital facility without boarding or kennel services. The keeping of pets overnight would be done only when medically necessary, submitted documents state.

The facility will feature both a surgery center and eye center,w ith a total of four doctors and 20 veterinary employees during the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
American Fertility Services had administrative approval in 2018 to open a fertility clinic in the building. The building was previously used as office space.
There was no debate between P&Z Commission members before the approval.
