Crate Of Kittens Dumped On Median In Middle Of Road In Basking Ridge

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A crate of four kittens was dumped on a roadway median in Basking Ridge on Wednesday morning.

At 8:04 a.m., the crate of kittens was reported on the median on Spring Valley Blvd between Balsam Way and Acken Road, said Bernards Township Deputy Chief Timothy King.

Bernards Township Animal Control Officer Michelle Santoro told Patch that the kittens are around 5 to 6 months old and in good overall health. They will be held for seven days prior to adoption.

Anyone interested in adopting one of the kittens is asked to contact Santoro by email [email protected] to pre-qualify through the adoption process.
