Caution Urged After Loose Bull Spotted Wandering In McHenry Co.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Authorities in McHenry County are urging caution for residents driving in the Marengo area after a bull was spotted on the loose Thursday.

On Thursday afternoon, drivers were urged to “use caution while driving” due to the loose bull, which was spotted in “the vegetation between South Union Road and South Grant Highway,” according to a post on the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. Here’s what the sheriff’s office shared on Facebook at about 4:50 p.m.:

It’s unclear if the bull is still wandering the area Friday. Patch.com has reached out to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office for more information but has not yet heard back.
