Concord Firefighters Sent To Fire At Morning Star Condominium Complex: Watch
CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams, as well as police, were sent to the Morning Star Condominium complex on Loudon Road Saturday morning for a fire.
Capital Region Fire Dispatch reported alarms from the complex just before 10:45 a.m. When they arrived, they found smoke in the area and later reported it was coming from the third floor of 185 Loudon Road, a building in the rear of the complex. Firefighters called for a working fire alert, which sent more firefighters and EMTs to the scene. Firefighters from Hooksett and Loudon were also requested.
Firefighters rescued several tenants from balconies, and tenants were evacuated from the second and third floors, according to scanner chatter. Just after 11 a.m., a battalion chief told dispatch the fire had been knocked down, and everyone had been evacuated from the building.

Other firefighters, including Boscawen, Manchester, Pembroke, and the Penacook Rescue team, were requested to come to the city for station coverage around 11:15 a.m. About 10 minutes later, the commander requested fire prevention and a property manager to the scene and said police had cordoned off the apartment. Police dispatch noted the apartment where the bulk of the fire was located had been visited by police in the past, but they did not specify why.
Around noon, the commander began releasing mutual aid teams and held some Concord firefighters to finish cleaning up.
