Concord Police Investigating Motorcycle, Pickup Truck Crash On Clinton Street: Watch
CONCORD, NH — Several people were injured during a crash between a pickup truck and motorcycle on Clinton Street on Tuesday morning.
Around 9:15 a.m., police dispatch took a report from Toyota Safety Connect about a vehicle possibly involved in a crash near the Hooksett Turnpike. The driver, the dispatcher said, was not responding. A few minutes later, a county employee in the area informed dispatch a motorcycle may have been involved in the crash. A couple of minutes later, dispatch sent more officers after reporting the motorcyclist was down and not conscious or breathing.
Concord fire and rescue teams were requested and sent multiple ambulances. The motorcyclist was taken to Concord Hospital on a Status 1 alert, and two people who were inside the pickup truck were also taken to the hospital on Status 3 alerts.

The crash appeared to be a head-on collision between a Toyota Tacoma and the motorcycle. Both vehicles were in the westbound lane of the road. According to scanner chatter, at one point, there was a discussion at the scene about lifting the pickup truck slightly to remove debris from under its bumper.
Police shut down the road between the Hooksett Turnpike and Birchdale Road and requested assistance from Dunbarton police to shut down that town’s stretch of the road. Officers expressed concern about the traffic and vehicle speed in the area.
