Bridgewater Teacher's Dino Style Book Wins 2 Awards

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Rob Ambrose, an 8th-grade science teacher at Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School and longtime Somerville resident, recently received some awards for his first children’s book Dino Style.

Feathered Quill Book Reviews awarded Ambrose first place in the Children’s Early Reader category as well as first place in the Children’s Poetry Book Category.

“It means a lot to me to win two awards and be recognized for the exact things I was trying to accomplish by writing and illustrating Dino Style. It’s always an honor when someone recognizes your hard work. I am so grateful for the recognition and support I have had since Dino Style came out last June,” said Ambrose.

“Unlike some award programs that only judge the story itself, Feathered Quill believes in judging the entire book ‘package,’ from cover design to interior format, although the bulk of each judge’s score goes toward the story/plot/presentation of research material,” wrote Feathered Quill.
