More Than $12K Raised For Family Who Lost Everything In Fire
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A fundraiser has been set up for a local couple who “lost everything” in a fire that broke out Wednesday at their home in Crystal Lake.
As of Friday, more than $13,000 has been raised for George Scott and Theresa Masini of Crystal Lake, who are beginning to rebuild after the blaze at their home in the 700 block of Elletson Drive early Wednesday.
“This fire has caused major destruction, causing everything to be lost in the fire,” Briana Scott, Scott’s daughter, wrote in the GoFundMe. “”Thankfully everyone is okay, but the damage is still done. Any support would be helpful as they have to build from the ground up.”
