Intoxicated, Unlicensed Driver Injures 2 In Camden Co. Crash: Police
STRATFORD, NJ — An unlicensed, intoxicated driver ran a red light and injured two people in a crash Thursday night in Stratford, police said.
At 11:52 p.m., officers responded to the White Horse Pike and Laurel Road for the reported accident. The other driver and a passenger sustained injuries. But the intoxicated driver — Gabriel A. Matute-Castro — wasn’t hurt in the two-vehicle collision, authorities said.
Both injured victims were taken to Jefferson Stratford Hospital, according to police.

Matute-Castro, 24, of Stratford, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, running a red light, driving without a license, and two counts of assault by auto. He was placed in the Camden County Jail with a pending detention hearing.
