Santos Escobar advances to WWE United States title Invitational finals
Santos Escobar has advanced to the finals of the SmackDown United States Championship Invitational.
Escobar won the first four-way match on Friday’s SmackDown, defeating AJ Styles, Grayson Waller, and Butch. The finish of the match had Styles preparing to use the Styles Clash on Butch when footage was shown backstage of The OC being laid out by Karrion Kross and Scarlett. Styles exited the match as Santos Escobar managed to pick up the victory, pinning Waller.
Another four-way match will take place between LA Knight, Rey Mysterio, Cameron Grimes, and Sheamus on next week's SmackDown. The winner of that match will then advance to the finals on the July 28 edition of SmackDown, where they will face Escobar.
